Sam has made Monday evenings fun and it’s great to learn with others in a small group, with lots of more natural words and phrases that you don’t get in traditional books.

Fortunately we had a small class and were able to have an intense teaching where we could practice speaking aloud. Sam's format and interactive teaching skills were incredibly useful.

Sam is a fantastic teacher. I've studied a couple of languages and attended a number of courses but I've never played games or had so much fun. Sam makes the lessons engaging and the games make the words stick and I feel much more confident

I wanted to learn some Spanish in preparation for tracking to Costa Rica. Sam’s teaching and follow up helped with greetings, directions, food allergies.
I enjoyed her teaching style and very practical prompts and reminders.
Although it was zoom it felt relaxed and designed for me.

Joined Sam’s beginners Spanish class in January and 12 weeks on I now know so much vocabulary that I would be confident to order food and drink, get an extra glass or replace a dirty fork after successfully navigating directions to a restaurant and stopping off at a cash point en route!

Good fun and useful resources.

The lessons are interactive and engaging and Sam provides tons of helpful, easy-to-follow resources to take home.

The only downside is that the hour just goes too quickly!

Each week I can feel my confidence grow and I definitely feel confident about attempting chatting to the locals when on holiday, even if it's ordering a glass of wine at the bar.

My confidence has improved and a more local way of saying things is really helpful to know.

I have been quite ill for several years and as I have always wanted to learn Spanish I thought this would help exercise my brain in an enjoyable way.
My confidence in myself has improved. My memory is improving too. I strongly believe learning a language helps this.

I've seen a lot of progress in my confidence, speaking out loud, and generally being more confident with speaking Spanish in Spain.

The sessions with Sam are fun and friendly. The groups are small and everyone is at the same level. We all learn in different ways and Sam accommodates this in her teaching. I have loved the beginners course and can't wait for the "next steps".

Sam is a great teacher, who is always happy to give everyone a personal greeting, with Hola or como estas.
It's been great to attend her classes, as she has a fantastic knowledge of the Spanish language, and makes learning fun. Looking forward to start again in September and hopefully learn even more español. Mil Gracias Sam x

Sam has made it easy for me to access her Spanish course. I pre-warned her of issues that i thought maybe a problem but Sam's attitude was welcoming and reassured me that I could take things at my own pace.

It is lovely to learn with others but in a small group, but also have work sheets to complete at home as well in my own time. Means I don't feel rushed in the class itself.

Sam was great, full of enthusiasm, answered any questions I had, regardless to how simple they were.

Learning another language can be a bit daunting, but Sam's relaxed, very knowledgable approach made it less daunting. Looking forward to going back to Spain and putting it in to practice.

The classes are very intense but on the whole have been an absolute joy. I've learnt a lot of the basics ie. Greetings, numbers, how to order food etc. All useful stuff. I virtually knew nothing before, now I have quite a few phrases.

Sam's teaching style is very inclusive and she has local knowledge which is good. I will be returning.

Sam your local knowledge is irreplaceable to us so we don’t sound typical English when we are speaking to the Spanish in their own language.
The location is friendly and it’s good to have the feeling of being able to go to the bar next door it’s opened up new places for most of us I think.

The class is the perfect size. The hour session i thought would not be enough, but I find we learn such lot in that hour. The hour session is perfect length.
