What is Spanish Club?
Spanish Club in Beccles is my ongoing, in-person membership for adults who want to keep learning and using their Spanish without having to book another course each term.
You’ll come along to the same weekly class in Beccles with people at a similar stage. We’ll explore practical, real-life topics, revisit and build on what you already know and give you plenty of opportunities to speak Spanish.
Classes are relaxed and sociable, with lots of encouragement and plenty of giggling along the way.
Unlike a fixed-length course, there’s no set end date. You can continue learning with your group for as long as Spanish Club works for you.
Is Spanish Club right for me?
Spanish Club is for adults who already have some Spanish and want regular, in-person practice to keep learning and feel more comfortable speaking.
It could be right for you if you:
✓ Have completed one of my Beginners or Next Steps courses
✓ Learned Spanish in the past and would like to start using it again
✓ Have learned through classes, apps or travel and want to build on what you know
✓ Can manage some everyday Spanish but would like to say more and have longer conversations
✓ Want guided speaking practice in a relaxed, sociable group
The groups are at different stages. Some are building on the foundations covered in Beginners and Next Steps, while longer-established groups are using different tenses and learning to talk about a wider range of topics in more detail. Some learners have now been coming to Spanish Club for almost two years.
You don’t need to remember everything perfectly or work out your level yourself. I’ll help you find the group that best matches what you already know.
If you enjoy doing a little extra between classes, I’ll also share optional resources and ideas to help you keep practising.

How do I join Spanish Club?
You don’t need to choose a group or work out your level by yourself.
Have a chat with me
Tell me a little about the Spanish you’ve learned before and which class times you could attend.
I’ll suggest the best fit
I’ll recommend the most suitable group and check that there’s space.
Book a paid taster session
Once we’ve found a suitable class, you can book and pay for a one-off taster session. You’ll meet the group, try the class and see how it feels before deciding whether to join.
Choose your membership
If you’d like to continue, you can choose monthly or quarterly membership and your place in the group will be reserved.
How does Spanish Club membership work?
Your membership gives you a reserved place in one Spanish Club class each week with your agreed group.
Spanish Club includes around 36 live classes across the year, with planned breaks including a summer break. The cost is spread evenly across the year, so your payments stay the same during months that include a break.
Choose how you’d like to pay
Both options include exactly the same classes and support. They are recurring memberships, so payments will continue automatically until you cancel in line with the membership terms.
You can stay in Spanish Club for as long as it works for you, without having to book again each term.

Where do Spanish Club classes take place?
Spanish Club classes take place at two welcoming venues in central Beccles. They’re both on Newgate and only a couple of doors apart.

Both venues give us a relaxed, informal space to learn, chat and practise Spanish together.

That’s absolutely fine. Where the level is suitable and space allows, you may be able to attend another Spanish Club group that week. I may also share resources to help you keep up with what your group has covered.
Your membership reserves your regular place, so missed classes aren’t refunded or deducted from your next payment.
Your membership includes one weekly in-person class, a reserved place in your agreed group and all the learning resources I provide for your lessons.
I’ll also share optional practice and ideas if you’d like to do a little more between classes.

If your availability changes or another group becomes more suitable, we can look at moving you where the level is appropriate and space is available.
If I need to cancel a class, I’ll let you know and arrange an alternative session or another form of learning support in line with the Spanish Club membership terms.
You can choose to pay £55 every month or £165 every three months. Both options include the same classes and support and will renew automatically until cancelled.
Yes. Let me know before your next payment is due and your membership will finish at the end of the period you’ve already paid for. Payments already made aren’t refundable.
