Is Spanish Club right for me?

Spanish Club is for adults who want to keep improving their Spanish through regular, in-person practice in a relaxed and supportive group.

It’s ideal if you already have some Spanish and want to build confidence, speak more freely, and keep making steady progress without pressure or tests.

Classes are friendly and low-pressure, with lots of guided speaking and support. There’s no homework overload, but optional practice and resources are always available if you’d like to do a bit more between sessions.

Spanish Club works for a range of levels, with different groups focusing on different stages and topics. If you’re not sure which group would suit you best, I’m always happy to help you choose.

Frequently Asked Questions

Here are a few common questions about Spanish Club. If you don’t see what you’re looking for, just get in touch.

What level do I need for Spanish Club?

Spanish Club is for adults who’ve learned some Spanish before and want to get back into it or keep improving.

Many members feel a bit rusty, studied Spanish a long time ago, or have learned through apps or previous courses.

Different groups suit different stages, so you don’t need to be confident or ‘good at languages’ to join. If you’re unsure which group is right for you, just get in touch and I’ll help you choose

What’s included in the Spanish Club?

Your Spanish Club membership includes:

One weekly in-person Spanish class
A reserved place in your chosen group
Teaching and guidance from an experienced tutor
Planned learning across the year, with breaks already factored in
Occasional flexibility to attend another group if you miss a session, where space allows
Optional guidance, recap activities or practice suggestions may also be shared to support your learning between classes

.

What if I miss a class?

If you can’t attend your usual class one week, that’s absolutely fine. Spanish Club is designed to be flexible and fit around real life.

Where space allows, you may be able to join another group that week, and many learners find this helpful for revisiting topics and keeping momentum. Where helpful, I may also share resources or recap materials to support your learning.

Do I need to do homework?

There’s no homework overload. Classes are designed so you make progress through regular, guided practice during sessions.

Where helpful, I’ll suggest simple ways to keep practising between classes, such as listening, watching something in Spanish, or revisiting what we’ve covered. There’s no pressure to do anything extra.

Are there breaks during the year?

Yes. Classes are planned across the year with breaks already factored in, so learning feels steady and manageable rather than rushed.

Spanish Club runs for around 36 weeks per year, with planned breaks including a summer break. Your membership payment stays the same each month, as it’s spread evenly across the year rather than linked to individual classes.

You can view upcoming dates alongside the class timetable here.

What happens if a class can’t run?

If I ever need to cancel a class, I’ll always make sure your learning continues. This might be an alternative date, a guided practice activity, a short video, or a voice note to support you that week.

Can I switch groups later on?

Yes. If your availability or level changes, we can look at moving you to a different group where space allows.

How does payment work?

Spanish Club is a rolling membership, paid monthly or quarterly.

You can pay £45 per month or £135 per quarter, and payments are spread evenly across the year to keep things simple and predictable.

Live classes run for around 36 weeks per year, with planned breaks already factored in. Your payment stays the same each month, even during breaks, as it’s part of the membership rather than payment for individual classes.

You’re free to cancel with notice in line with the membership terms if Spanish Club is no longer the right fit for you.

Can I cancel my Spanish Club Membership?

Yes. Spanish Club is a rolling monthly or quarterly membership, so you can cancel at any time.

If you choose to cancel, your membership will continue until your next payment date, and you’re very welcome to attend classes up to that point. Payments already made aren’t refundable.

Once your membership ends, access to Spanish Club online materials and resources will also end.

What if I’m busy or miss a few weeks?

That’s absolutely fine. Spanish Club is designed to fit around real life, and there’s no pressure to attend every single week. Learning Spanish is a long-term process, and steady exposure over time is what matters most.

Is there a minimum commitment?

No. Spanish Club is a rolling monthly or quarterly membership, so you’re free to stay for as long as it works for you and cancel if it no longer fits your life.
