FAQs: How it works and what to expect

I know you might have a few questions, so here’s everything you need to know to feel relaxed and ready for a fun night of Spanish and games.

Absolutely. The game is designed for beginners and nervous speakers but it’s also a fun way for anyone working at a higher level to get in some relaxed speaking practice. I’ll be there to guide you and everything will have English support if you want it. It’s all about having fun and giving Spanish a go whatever your level.

Tickets are non-refundable.

But I know life happens. If you can’t make it, just let me know at least 48 hours before the event. I’m happy to transfer your booking to another games night or event, or you can use the value towards one of my other services. If it's less than 48 hours, I'll do my best but can't always guarantee a transfer.

In the unlikely event I need to cancel for any reason, like illness or an emergency, I’ll offer you an alternative date or you can use the value towards any of my other classes or events.

Families are welcome and if you feel your teen or child would enjoy joining in and can manage the 7 to 9pm timing they’re very welcome to come along with you.

The event is designed as an adults-focused evening and the game works best with adults and older teens. It’s all happening in the café which is a flexible space but it’s not a children's event or set up with little ones in mind.

Old School Coffee will be open during the games night with their usual fantastic selection of hot drinks and refreshments. Drinks are not included in your ticket but you’re welcome to grab whatever you fancy.

Yes of course. You can book a pair ticket for £25 which covers two players and includes one game set to take home between you. If you'd both like a copy of the game to take home book single tickets.

The game is Cluedo-style with a Spanish twist. You’ll use simple Spanish sentences to guess who caused the chaos at the holiday villa, with what object, and where it happened.

I’ll guide you and you’ll have support throughout. You can play in pairs or small groups on the night. It’s a relaxed evening where you can have fun using your Spanish whether you’re a beginner or feeling a bit more confident.

Spaces are limited so booking in advance is the best way to make sure you’ve got a spot. If there are spaces left on the day you can book online or message me to check, but it’s subject to availability.
