Beginners Spanish in Norwich | 11 Week Course

Ready to learn Spanish from the very beginning?
This friendly 11-week course is designed for complete beginners, or anyone who'd like to go back to basics and build really strong foundations in Spanish.
Whether you've never learned before or you've picked up the odd word or phrase on holiday or through apps like Duolingo, you'll gain the confidence to start using Spanish in real-life situations.
With plenty of speaking practice, clear explanations and a relaxed small-group atmosphere, you'll learn how to pronounce Spanish confidently, build conversations from day one, and communicate naturally using practical, everyday Spanish.

Is this course right for me?
This course is ideal if you've never learned Spanish before, or you'd like to go back to basics and build strong foundations in a friendly, supportive environment.
No previous knowledge is needed. We'll build your confidence step by step in a relaxed small-group setting.
By the end of the course, you'll be able to:
- Introduce yourself and exchange basic information
- Ask and answer simple everyday questions
- Order food and drinks confidently in cafés, restaurants and tapas bars
- Express simple opinions about food and drinks
- Understand Spanish pronunciation and read Spanish with confidence
- Build simple conversations in practical, everyday situations
- Handle everyday situations such as shopping, asking for directions or ordering food
- Feel more confident using Spanish when travelling in Spain
What can I expect?
Every group develops at its own pace, so the topics we cover may vary slightly.
You'll be speaking Spanish from your very first lesson through practical, everyday situations. With clear explanations, plenty of speaking practice and regular opportunities to build on what you've learned, you'll grow in confidence week by week.
Classes are friendly, relaxed and interactive, giving you plenty of opportunities to practise your Spanish, ask questions and build your confidence alongside other adults.

Where do the classes take place?
My Tuesday face-to-face classes in Norwich take place at The George Hotel, 10 Arlington Lane, Newmarket Road, Norwich, NR2 2DA
We have private use of the Ascot room for our Spanish lessons, giving us our own relaxed space to learn, chat and practise Spanish together.

Yes. This course is designed for complete beginners, as well as anyone who'd like a fresh start. Whether you've never learned Spanish before or you've picked up a few words on holiday or through apps like Duolingo, we'll build your confidence step by step and help you develop strong foundations from the very beginning.
The course begins on Tuesday 15th September and runs weekly.
There won't be a class on Tuesday 29th September (the venue has an event that evening)
The final lesson of the course is on Tuesday 1st December.
You'll receive a full list of lesson dates when you book, so you'll know exactly when classes are running.
Yes, if there are still spaces you are welcome to join. I recommend contacting me (Sam) and booking a taster lesson first to check that the class is suitable for you. If you then decide to continue with the remainder of the course you will receive access to the online learning area which contains all the material covered. This includes audio files and interactive flashcards.
No worries at all. You’ll still get access to the class resources and a copy of the student worksheet.
Please let me know in advance if you can’t make it so I can make sure everything is ready for you.
You’re also welcome to join a different class that week if there is space. Just contact me directly to arrange it.
Nothing at all. I’ll provide all the lesson resources and anything else you need in class.
You might just want to bring some change or a card if you’d like to buy a drink during the session as you can enjoy a drink from the bar if you fancy.
When you book, you’re agreeing to a non-refundable course. However, there’s no commitment to continue beyond the term.
