We have private use of the café for our Spanish sessions, with a friendly member of staff on hand if you'd like to grab a drink.

I’ve spoken Spanish for over 27 years and grew up in Tenerife, where I went to Spanish school and later worked—so you’ll learn real-life, practical Spanish with plenty of cultural insight.
I’m a qualified teacher (QTS) and Finalist for Online Tutor of the Year 2024, and my classes are all about keeping things relaxed, friendly, and encouraging. You’ll learn useful Spanish you can actually use—and have a laugh along the way.

The full 12-week course is £180, but as you’re joining from week 4, your course fee is £150. You'll still get full access to the lesson resources and audio notes from the first 3 sessions, so you won’t miss out on any key content!

Face-to-face Monday evening classes are held at Old School Coffee, 33a Newgate, Beccles NR34 9QB. This Beginner Spanish class runs on Mondays from 8:15-9:15pm.
There are no regular classes on the two Bank Holidays in May.

You’ll work through engaging themes that change every 4-6 weeks. For the first 12 weeks (Term 1), you’ll build a strong foundation in greetings, numbers, days and times, ordering in cafes and restaurants, and asking for directions. By the end of the course, you'll feel more confident using Spanish in practical, everyday situations.
Yes, as spaces are limited, payment is required for the full term. If you miss a lesson, I’ll send you the resources, and audio files of key vocabulary. You’re also welcome to join another class that week (if space permits). Just contact me at [email protected].

I'll provide all of the lesson resources so you just need to bring yourself and some change/a card if you'd like to buy a coffee or drink.

Yes! There is street parking in town and several pay-and-display car parks, many of which are free after 6pm (though some may still require registration).
