We have private use of the café for our Spanish sessions, with a friendly member of staff on hand if you'd like to grab a drink.
Old School Coffee serves up delicious coffees, plus a great range of hot and cold drinks—perfect to enjoy while you learn!
This course is all about helping you feel more confident using Spanish in everyday situations. We’ll build on what you already know, introduce new vocabulary and grammar in a clear, manageable way, and give you loads of chances to practise speaking.

The 12-week course costs £180. Payment options are available, including pay-in-full or spread payments across 2, 3, or 4 months.
Face-to-face Monday evening classes are held at Old School Coffee, 33a Newgate, Beccles NR34 9QB. This Next Steps Spanish class runs on Mondays from 7pm-8pm.
There are no regular classes on the two Bank Holidays in May.

In the 'Next Steps Spanish Class', you’ll build on the basics you already know—learning how to talk more naturally and confidently about everyday topics like hobbies, making plans, shopping, ordering food, and real-life situations like asking for help or returning something.
We’ll also cover the key grammar that helps it all make sense, like present tense verbs and sentence structures, so you can feel more in control of how Spanish works (without it feeling overwhelming!).
By the end of the course, you’ll feel more confident holding short conversations, understanding spoken Spanish, and using what you’ve learned in real life—on holiday, chatting with locals, or just for fun!
Yes, as spaces are limited, payment is required for the full term. If you miss a lesson, I’ll send you the resources, and audio files of key vocabulary. You’re also welcome to join another class that week (if space permits). Just contact me at [email protected].

When you book, you’re agreeing to a non-refundable course. However, there’s no commitment to continue beyond the term.
Yes! There is street parking in town and several pay-and-display car parks, many of which are free after 6pm (though some may still require registration). The café is also opposite Tesco (but please mind any parking regulations or restrictions)
