Why this programme works
Everything inside this programme is based on what I’m actively running, testing and refining in my own adult Spanish classes.
This isn’t theory. It’s real world experience from:
- Filling local classes
- Building a community model
- Running sustainable terms
- Refining pricing, structure and marketing
A bit about me
Hola, I’m Sam.
I’m a qualified Spanish and French teacher and the founder of SJ Languages. I spent years teaching in schools and sixth form before leaving classroom teaching to build my own tutoring business.
In January 2025, I started running adult Spanish classes locally. What began as two small groups has grown into a community of over fifty regular adult learners, alongside Spanish-themed events and experiences.
I share what I’m actually running, testing, and refining with real adult Spanish learners.
This programme exists because I know how powerful it is not to do this on your own.
This programme is for you if...
You’re a language tutor (especially Spanish) thinking about running adult classes but aren’t sure where to start
You’re already teaching adults, but things feel a bit scattered or inconsistent and you’d like clearer structure
You want support actually getting classes set up, shared, and running
rather than just collecting ideas
You want adult classes that feel enjoyable, sociable, and steady alongside the rest of your work
What we focus on over the 12 weeks
Over the 12 weeks, I’ll support you to:
- decide what kind of adult Spanish classes you want to run and who they’re for
- shape classes that fit around your life, energy, and availability
- plan lessons confidently without spending hours each week
- set up venues, pricing, and booking in a simple, realistic way
- share and sell your classes in a natural way that feels like you
- build consistency across the year, not just rely on short bursts of demand
How you’ll be supported
You’ll be supported through weekly action, practical guidance, and community, so you’re never doing this on your own.
At the start of the programme, you’ll have a relaxed 1:1 session with me to talk through where you’re currently at and get settled for the 12 weeks ahead.
Weekly Action & Accountability
Get-It-Done sessions
(every Monday at 11am)
Each week, we meet for a live, guided working session where we actually take action together.
I’ll guide one practical task at the start of the session, then we work on it in real time. This might include drafting flyers or posts, contacting venues, setting up booking links, or preparing for a class launch.
Working alongside other tutors removes procrastination and helps progress happen week by week.
Practical Guidance & Clarity
Monthly training and check-ins
Each month, we have a practical training session on areas that support adult classes, such as:
✨ structuring and pacing courses
✨ pricing and formats
✨ simple marketing
✨ gathering feedback and improving classes
Alongside this, there’s a monthly group Q&A and check-in where you can ask questions, talk things through, and get encouragement as things take shape.
Community, replays & support
So you’re never doing this alone
You’ll have access to the Tutor Lounge community space, where you can share ideas, ask questions, and feel supported by other Spanish tutors building adult classes at the same time.
You’ll also have access to:
✨ replays of all live sessions
✨ templates and checklists shared as we go

From unsure where she was heading to running her own adult Spanish classes
Before speaking with Sam, I felt
Sam was so kind and generous with her time, openly sharing her wealth of experience to help me get started.
Using her tried-and-tested, high-quality resources has
I’m so proud to have
I’ll be forever grateful to have met Sam at the very beginning of my journey into building a Spanish language teaching business.
Teaching resources
(included, with intention)
You’ll receive a starter set of adult Spanish lesson materials to help you launch your first classes with confidence.
These resources:
are tried and tested in my own adult Spanish classes
are designed specifically for British adult learners
focus on practical, confidence-building Spanish
help remove the “what do I teach?” block at the start
The starter pack is enough to run a full beginner block, so you can focus on getting your classes set up, shared, and running.
This programme is not a full resource library.
The resources are included to support action and momentum, while the main focus of the programme is guidance, structure, and weekly support to get classes running.

Essential FAQs for your programme
Do I need to be running adult classes already?
No. Some tutors join before launching their first adult class, while others join to bring more clarity and structure to grow classes they’re already running.
The programme is designed to support both, and to help you move into action at your own pace.
Is this only for Spanish tutors?
The programme is designed with Spanish tutors in mind, and the included teaching resources are in Spanish.
Tutors of other languages are welcome too, as the structure, support, and guidance apply across languages, but Spanish is the main focus.
How much time do I need each week?
You’ll get the most out of the programme if you can attend the weekly Get-It-Done session, but everything is designed to fit around real life.
Replays are always available, and many tutors make progress in small, focused pockets of time rather than long working blocks.
What’s the main outcome by the end of the 12 weeks?
By the end of the 12 weeks, the aim is that you’ll either have adult classes running or be actively selling spaces, with the structure and support in place to keep going.
Is this a resource library?
No. Resources are included to help you get started smoothly, but this isn’t a large download-and-disappear resource bank.
The heart of the programme is guidance, structure, accountability, and support to help you get classes up and running.
What happens if I can’t attend live?
All live sessions are recorded, so you can catch up in your own time if you need to miss a session.
What happens after the 12 weeks?
At the end of the programme, you’ll have the option to continue inside the Tutor Lounge for ongoing support and community if you’d like.
There’s no obligation to continue.
Do we get any 1:1 support?
Yes. The programme begins with a 1:1 session with me, where we’ll talk through where you’re currently at, what you’d like to build, and how to use the programme in a way that works for you.
Can I book extra 1:1 support if I need it?
Yes. If at any point you’d like more personalised support, you can book additional 1:1 sessions with me alongside the programme.
This is completely optional and there’s no expectation to add anything on.
