Wondering how it all works?
Here are the questions parents ask me most often and the answers to help you feel confident about joining:
Membership is £100 per month. Many students stay with me right up until their final exams, and sometimes beyond, because the ongoing support helps them feel confident and fully prepared.
This club is designed for Year 10 students who want to feel confident and prepared for their GCSE Spanish exam. It supports both AQA and Edexcel exam boards and works best alongside classroom or independent study, giving students expert support with exam techniques, vocabulary, grammar, and speaking practice.
It is also suitable for Year 9 students taking a three-year GCSE course or those who want to build exam skills early.
.
No, there is no contract or minimum time period. Your subscription starts when you join, and you can cancel any time through your online dashboard. Your child will still have access to the club until your next payment date.
All sessions are recorded and available in the online learning area so your child can catch up any time.
Term-time live lessons pause during school holidays, but your child will still have access to bonus holiday activities to keep their learning active and engaging.
Each Friday, your child receives a speaking assignment in the online learning area with guidance and tips. They then have until Thursday to send their response by WhatsApp as a video or voice note. I provide personalised feedback to help them improve and build confidence.
For the academic year 2025–2026, Year 10 Confidence Club live classes run on Saturdays from 10:15am to 11:15am during term time, starting on Saturday 13th September 2025.
I follow the Norfolk and Suffolk term dates, and the full list of lesson dates is always available in the online learning area.
During the school holidays there will be optional bonus activities, and in August I will run a GCSE Summer Club to help students prepare for Year 11. Dates and times for the summer sessions will be shared nearer the time, and all live lessons will be recorded so students can catch up if they are away.
Yes, this club is also suitable for Year 9 students who are taking a three-year GCSE course or who want to build exam skills early.
These classes focus on exam techniques, confidence, and revision support rather than teaching the full curriculum from scratch.
TNo formal assessment is needed. I will chat with you and your child about their current strengths and areas for improvement. You are also welcome to share examples of work so I can understand their starting point.
We work through exam-style tasks together, and I give feedback on how to make answers stronger and achieve higher marks. I use quizzes and informal checks to see how your child is doing, but I will not give students grades as, in order for this to be accurate, a whole paper would need to be sat. This is a separate service I provide if you would like a more formal, summative assessment.
I encourage students to have their camera on because it helps me support them better and makes lessons feel more interactive. On Zoom, I usually use Focus Mode so students can see me and I can see them, but they cannot see each other. Occasionally, there may be an activity where I suggest turning off Focus Mode so students can see each other, but this is always optional, and students can keep their cameras off if they prefer. If your child feels anxious, they can start with their camera off until they feel more comfortable.
Yes, you are welcome to book a one-off taster session for £25 so your child can experience a live class before joining the monthly membership.
Contact Sam by email [email protected] or WhatsApp 07440 666931 to book a taster class.
Many parents also like to book a free introductory call first to see how everything works and ask any questions.
I offer a free introductory call for all parents and students before joining so you can see how the club works and ask any questions. There is no long-term commitment so if your child joins and then decides the club is not right for them, you can cancel any time, and no further payments will be taken. Your child will keep access to the lessons and resources until the end of the month’s subscription.
In the unlikely event that I need to cancel a live lesson, I will always offer an alternative day or time, or provide a recorded lesson or personalised task so your child can keep learning without disruption.
Because all students receive access to live lessons, recordings, and digital resources straight away, I am not able to offer refunds once a payment has been made. To help you feel confident before joining, I offer a free introductory call and the option to book a one-off taster session for £25 so your child can try a live class before committing to the monthly membership.
